The Office of Humanitarian Affairs (OHA) is an international humanitarian organization committed to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across Nigeria. We believe that meaningful change starts with meeting people at their point of need.
The Rural Livelihood Grant Program 2026 provides direct financial support to working-age adults in rural communities across Kogi State. Recipients receive a one-time grant to support basic livelihood needs and invest in small income-generating activities.

Eligibility
Who Can Apply
You must meet all six requirements listed below to be eligible for this program.
Nigerian Citizen
You must be a registered Nigerian citizen with valid identification.
Rural Residence
You must live in a rural community within Kogi State.
Aged 18 – 65
Applicants must be between 18 and 65 years of age at the time of applying.
Active Bank Account
You must have an active Nigerian bank account in your name.
Valid Phone Number
A working Nigerian phone number is required to receive SMS notifications.
First-Time Applicant
You must not have previously received this grant from OHA.
All six criteria must be met simultaneously. Partial eligibility does not qualify you for consideration. If you are unsure about your eligibility, contact us before applying.
Application Process
How to Apply
Follow these four simple steps to complete your application for the Rural Livelihood Grant Program.
Get Your Reference Code
Visit an authorized OHA field registration point or officer in your community. Our officer will issue you a unique Reference Code (e.g. GRANT-KOG-042). Keep it safe — you will need it throughout the process.

Pay Your Processing Fee
Pay the one-time fee of ₦2,500 using the Apply Now button, or via direct bank transfer. This covers processing and verification only. Keep your payment receipt as proof.

Complete Your Application
Return to the OHA field point with your payment receipt. Our officer will complete your full application form with your details, bank account information, and supporting documents.

Wait for Your Outcome
All applications are reviewed within 14 working days. You will receive an SMS with your result. Successful applicants receive their grant directly to their bank account.

FRAUD WARNING
OHA will NEVER ask you to pay into a personal account or pay any amount beyond the official ₦2,500 fee. If anyone contacts you requesting extra payments, report them to our hotline immediately.
NO CASH POLICY
No OHA field officer is authorized to collect cash. All payments go directly to our official bank account. If an officer asks you for cash, refuse immediately and report them to our office.
ABOUT THE ₦2,500 FEE
The ₦2,500 fee covers processing and verification only. It does not guarantee selection. Applicants not selected due to quota receive a full refund within 7 working days of notification.
